Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is the latest title in Ubisoft’s strategy-shooter series and the first to take place in a freely explorable landscape. This game is the tenth installment in the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise and according to Ubisoft, one of the biggest open world games that they have ever published. The game world includes a wide variety of environments such as mountains, forests, deserts and salt pans and will be playable on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Ghost Recon Wildlands didn’t adopt the usual approach of providing a main through-line of story missions and (or) with side quests (such as games like Grand Theft Auto), instead it has no fixed narrative at all. Players play as a member of the Ghosts, a fictional elite team in the United States Army and can take part alone or with additional three friends, traveling the world’s nine different environments and taking on missions in any order they want. Players can roam the world as they take on different tasks, also they can also select their own weapons and vehicles, and then take on jobs at the locations and time they choose. For navigation, a variety of vehicles, such as dirt bikes, speedboats helicopters and dune buggies, will also feature in the game all based around the landscape – Bolivia.
During the pre-E3 briefing, creative director Eric Couzian emphasized on the player freedom and environmental realism “We want you to feel the thrill of exploration,” he said. “It’s a consistent world, and we wanted it to be as real as possible. We sent the team to Bolivia for two weeks to recreate it fully. We have worked with many experts, including military consultants and botanists. The world is alive: the enemies and civilians have their own lives, dictated by their jobs, the time of day and their faction. There is no script at all. We know that every player will have a different experience.”
It’s new for the industry, a unique open world, military co-op shooter
You can watch the trailer below;
Great trailer isn’t it? The equipment’s in the game will feature weapons and gear commonly used by militaries around the world and also equipment’s such as drones can be used to tag and show the highlighted enemies and objectives. The game will also introduce dynamic weather system and day-night cycle. Enemies are spotted easily when completing missions during the daytime, while completing missions at night grant players a tactical advantage, since the night offers players better concealment. Players are also tasked with making observations before carrying out missions.
As said earlier, this is the largest open-world game environment Ubisoft has ever created,

Nice visuals
Most game companies offer a better trailer than the real deal.. any gameplay video?
This should be great if the trailer is anything like the game
